First, Second, Third Person Essay- GLPS LIFE

 First Person
  I woke really late today. Fortunately, today was Sunday so there were no classes. I woke up 8:34 AM and my roommates were cleaning. They said that the PA came but he didn't see me. So I woke up and started to clean my desk and my room. Surprisingly, when PA came to our room he said that we cleaned very well and he gave us green card! I was really happy and I was hungry. My friends gave me some snacks and we went out. It was snowing and we played snow fight. It was fun and we took shower when we came back.

Second Person

Ode To My iPod

Dear iPod.

You had been injured by me for lomg time. I dropped you much time and throw you at the bed. I was bad. You might have been stressful and angry to me. I am really sorry. However, from now on you don't have to worry about your injury. I will not throw you and drop any more. I will take care of you more and more.You make me more proud and you teach me how to take care of the thing. Also you are special to me because I am the one who has you and you help me for studying. You entertain me. You are really helpful. You were like pizza to me when I bought you. When my friends have you I didn't have you so I was kind of sad however, when I saw you, you were like water in desert. When I went to buy you, you were saying like "Kevin, pleasebuy me. I can rescue you. You might be happy if you buy me." I was really happy to see you and when I own you I was like bird. I am really lucky and I am happy to own you. You are the one of the best things I got right now. Now you are the one that it is latest thing that has came out because you are iPod 4G and some people envy me. When I came here without you, I was kind of boring and sad because there was nothing to do. So when I went to home, I brought you and you were really awesome. You helped me to research and entertain me with various things like application. I was kind of lucky that time because my mom allowed me to bring you to this camp. Any way you are the one of the cool thing s which I have.

Out My Window-Mazen

      Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Kim Dong-won. We have our major essay which is about 'Out my window' Our class chose the character from this site. Therefore, today I am  going to write about Mazen who lives in Beirut, Lebanon. I am going to compare his life and my life by this essay.I haven't been to Lebanon but, after visiting this site I thought that this country might be exciting to compare with my nation. First, I will talk about the environment. Then I will compare Lebanon and Korea.

      First, it is environment. Mazen says that in 2006, there was a war between Israel and Lebanon.  The war has continued for 33 days. About 1,000 people died by that war. While the war started Mazen stood up on his highrise balcony and recorded the sounds of bombing with his trumpet for 10 hours. I think we did that because he hated the war and wanted to stop war by making people hate the war with his improvised music about bombing sound. I said he lives in Beirut , Lebanon. South Lebanon's building was destructed. If the war had continued for 33 days it is really long time to have a war. I am from Busan. These days South Korea has many reflictions with North Korea. I am afraid to have war. I can understand him a little bit but not all. Anyway, I think the war is not good at all. May be he has mental problem by the war so that we recorded the sound of bomb with his trumpet. However, in our town people doesn't care about the war. Even they hear the news about refliction between South Korea and North Korea, they just say "Oh, that's terrible." And after one day later, they don't care about what happened the day before. I hope our town changes that mind. Also, around him, I think it is messed up I think. Because it hasn't passed a lot. But in my town, we don't worry about the wars. So I am kind of worried about them. I wonder how their behavior going to be change.
 Let's talk about Korea and Lebanon. Korea also had a war with North Korea in 1950. However, they are not having war now. Lebanon had a war with Israel in 2006. 1000 people were dead. In the Asian country like Israel, Palestine, or Lebanon are having war now. Korea is also not having good relationship with North Korea now. I am not sure that I understand all of the feeling that  Mazen has but I can understand kind of them. I hope the war doesn't occur. May be Maze is kind of shocked. Korea is now growing up to the strong country in many many ways. I am eally proud of Korea now. If Mazen finds out the good things in Lebanon, he might be happy wit his country. The diffrence between Korea and Lebanon is the war. Korea had war in the past but not now while Lebanon had a war recently. Fortunately, there are similarities between Korea and Lebanon. When I visited the site named 'Out My Window' the picture showed me that Beirut is a big city in Lebanon as Busan.There were many people and big city. Also it looked like it was kind of busy. Many of the buildings were destructed by the war wth Lebanon. I hope the war doesn't occur and liv peacefully together. And this was the end of the writing about Lebanon and Korea

Charlie Bit Me

            This is one of the viral video from youtube. In this video Charlie bit his brother's finger. At first the bite wasn't painful so the brother gave his finger to Charlie's mouth. That time Charlie bit him. It was really painful so Charlie's brother's face became got worse and worse.
           At first, this was positive viral video. However, at last it became more negative. I think if Charlie's brother didn't let Charlie to bite his finger it may be just positive viral video. However, as he did it, it became funnier and negative viral video.

ANNOUNCER: Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the latest edition of Wacky World of Winter Sports, where kids are in charge. This week, we feature several sports created by kids, including “crazy School Lunch Hockey,” and “Textbook Ice Skating.” Let's meet our first competitor.

INTERVIEWER: Kim is a champion crazy School Lunch Hockey player. Tell us, Kim, how did you get into this specialized kind of hockey?

Kim: Well, I always hated school lunches. They are so insane, fantastic, and wonderful. One cold winter day, I was so sick of mad meatloaf, I took my lunch outside and whacked it across the play yard to see how far it would go. It went far! My friends murdered, so we decided to make a new game.

INTERVIEWER: Thank you, Kim. Next we have Kim Tak soo, who is a champion Textbook Ice Skater. How did you get started with Textbook Ice Skating?

Kim Tak soo: I have been Textbook Ice Skating since I was 7. One day, when I was walking home, I quickly dropped my school books on the ice, stepped on them happily, and slid. But since I am good at ice skating, I just rode across the ice. It was fun, so I decided to make a sport of it. I find that P.E. books work the best.

 The Question:In the film "Spring,Summer,Fall,Winter,Spring"what lesson do you think the monk is trying to teach his young student? Reflectively relate this learning process to your own personal experience.

  In this film, a young student caught three animals: fish,frog, and snake. When he caught, he put a stone on the animals' back The monk saw it and decided to give a lesson to the young monk. Therefore, he put a stone and tied to young monk. In the morning, when the young monk waked up, he asked to the monk to release the stone on his back. The monk said, "If you find the animals and release the stone, I will release the stone from you. But if you find even one animal which is dead by you, you might keep the stone in your heart.". Therefore, the young monk goes to find them. When he found the fish, it was drown. He relesed the stone and made graveyard for the fish. Fortunately, when he found frog it was alive so when young monk released the stone, it ran away. Last, the snake was dead with blood. The young monk cried. I think the lesson that the monk wanted to teach his student was 'Life is always important to everyone'
  For my experience, I nurtured the turtles for my pet. That time I was busy so I couldn't feed them well for 5 days. I gave them the meal irregularly.One day I forgot to feed them lunch and the dinner. I fed the breakfast, since I have to go to the academy I couldn't. Fortunately, I gave them lots of the meal later. But, the real problem is that I can't show my turtles on my hand. If there is person who want to see my turtles I had to show them with their house.But I did for 5 times and they became stressful.Therefore, they started to run away when I appear. So whenever I fed them, they ran away. They couldn't have their meal well, so they were starved. So one turtle came out, and started to eat. As well as it is starved, it ate all of the meal. The one which doesn't have much energy, stucked between wall and the machine which provides the air. And one died for lonelyness.
  In conclusion, in this movie I learned that the life of every animal's life is important. And we shouldn't play with it.   

Writing Chain-A Travel With Nightmare

 If I could go back in the time, I want to go back to the time when there was dinausaurs. I want to meet dinasuars. I want to see dinosaurs, figure out how they hunted, and I want to be the first person to announce accurate information about dinosaurs

 First, I want to meet dinosaurs. I think we only can see the bones of dinosaurs. I want to what they look like. Their skin colors are also a mystery because nobody has seen them. If I find and meet dinosaurs for the first timein the wholeworld, I can be famous, get award and can be rich. Being the first person to meet         dinosaurs will be amazing!                                                                                                                         

 Secondly, I want to bring dinosaurs DNA material and compare it with humons. May be it can be related or I might figure it out how to make our Earth like a Jurrasic Park. This will be an extraordinary discovery. 

 Let's go then! Shooooooooooooooooooooooong!(sound effect)! I came to the world where there are no houses ,no cars, nothing! Oh! I see something there: "What's that?" I walked through the jungle. I saw a dinosaur. This is~~~~ I suddenly noticed this is a Nightmare! This, this is a great discovery! Let's go ba---,wait how can I get back? Oh noooooooooo! I consideredthe Nightmare for a while.Why is this dinosaur not eating me? Is it dead? No. It's breathing. I think it's not sleeping.The name of Nightmare was named by his furious scary hunter. It can fly and dive in to the dinosaur that they can eat. They even ate T-rex. I found out that this Nightmare is a hunter. I didn't know what to do. I made a shelter for him as the first thing on wait I have some medicine. I gave it to him. After nursing him I slept.When I woke up, he was all right, and infront of me there was a huge piece of meat which he gave to me, because I saved him.After eating that I left the spot, but he kept following me. He was huge and scary by look, but actually he was really friendly and loyal. I decided  I would look around with him. I climbed onto his back. When I climbed onto his back I was able to see jungle in my sight. It was cool!!! The night mane was curious that I was so surprised. We stopped by the sea to swim and for the Nightmare to hunt. We stepped one step into the water.Opposite to my thought, the water was warm. Suddenly I saw a shark's fin, it was coming to me. I called the Nightmare but he was too far away. I was terrified. The shark was very fast. I ran as well as I could, shouting at the Nightmare. And the Nightmare was calling me. "Hey! here ypu are!"  I climbed oin to him and continued the trip.
